A must read book for ages 8 and up!! A humble tale about a 10-year-old that seems to have everyone envious of her lavish lifestyle. Serene will go to the extreme to bully her oldest friend for living a modest life serving God. She would rather slander a true friend to fill her vacant self. God's grace and forgiveness is the only thing that can save her from herself. Will she accept this new life?

Good way to introduce kids to lessons in the Bible by explaining Bible verses through actions in the story. Bullying is a real problem so this was a timely story that addresses that very real issue.

This book has a wonderful message for children about how to handle bullies and cyber bullies, and I really liked the elements of Faith woven throughout. I did find the dialogue at bit advanced as the characters were 10 years old.
