Beauchamp Hall A Novel edition by Danielle Steel Literature Fiction eBooks
After a slow, even somewhat disappointing start, “Beauchamp Hall” slips into an engaging, even provocative read.BLUSH FACTOR: Although the number of eff-words is not too large, it is more than you would probably wish to read to your youngsters or your prayer group. Having stated that, the language used does sound authentic and does fit in this saga. There is a sex scene that will likely embarrass anyone reading to their youngsters or their prayer group.
WRITING & EDITING: Excellent. Professional.
BOTTOM LINE
This is an interesting tale that most any reader will enjoy, if not necessarily love. It was not a life-changing sort of novel, but it was a nice diversion.
Four stars out of five.

Beauchamp Hall A Novel edition by Danielle Steel Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Anyone who is a fan of Downton Abbey will relate to this book. I found myself wishing I could be Winnie, and go to England, find a small cottage in an old English village, and have a real adventure. I rate books by the ability to escape inside the story, and this one I felt like I was there. The details of the landscape were perfect. And Winnie's predictable life in Michigan begged for a way out. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I didn't want it to end so soon. I wanted more.
I've never given much thought to research for a novel. However it's apparent MS. Steele. Didn't do much research for this one. I'm enjoying the story but cringe every time she refers to Detroit as two hours away ( it's 1 hour tops) and Flint as being a distance from Beecher ,Because it is not . i was born and raised in Flint, MI. Beecher is not really a town it has no legal status as a municipality . It's more a part of Flint a impoverished North end neighborhood Denoted by the Beecher school district and It was the site of one of the deadliest tornados in history the area used to be a thriving area until GM closed all the auto P!ants. However the author describes BEECHER like it's Miles from Flint. Small thing i know and more of an observation but I've always thought the town's she described were as she described them. Now I see that is not true . Though I appreciate her more positive description of Flint it gets a lot of bad press its just not true
I loved this story but wish the last quarter of the book could have been longer. Too much time was given to the first two relationships and the one that mattered most was barely touched on---not developed at all, so much so that I went back and reread to see if I missed anything because their I love yous seemed to come out of no where. And what they were working on at the end was the most interesting part of the whole book, and just wish that part had been longer and other parts, like Nigel, shorter. Overall, a fun read, as always read in one sitting.
This book was a good read. I would love to visit the Hall. However, the plot lurched along eventually to it's conclusion. The end was only partially satisfactory. This book needs an epilogue. I suggest Ms. Steele either write one or hold a contest for her fans to submit their own. Oh, there should also be a family mystery to solve, a comp!location to clear up, a treasure to find, because HEA is much harder than this.
This book had me hooked from the first paragraph. I love how Danielle creates such a firm and special bond between me and her characters. The story was fabulous. Always wanting to read more and sad when bedtime would come and I’d have to put the book down till the next day. Thank you Danielle. Absolutely LOVED THIS STORY.
What a disappointment. More and more Danielle Steele books are drawn out, repetitive chapters, with a predictable plot. If you read the jacket cover, you pretty much know how the story will progress. 11 years in a relationship going no where...getting hooked on a program like our beloved Downton Abbey.. going to England to become part of it.. and the new romance barely had much written time to the relationship and a rushed ending.
Romance is not my usual choice, but an occasional detour. Danielle Steele seemed a good bet, but I am deeply disappointed that I spent time and money on this title. The writer’s failures are one thing, but to see that they escaped her editor’s notice is another. Among the glaring faults are abrupt changes in POV, redundant narrative, often within the space of a paragraph or two, and heavy handed “sex” scenes that would shame the most inexperienced writers. There is one egregious editing error in my version, repeating 2 paragraphs.
In all, don’t waste your time.
